Review: Turbo

This was totally adorable, but admittedly, not the greatest animated film of the past decade.

The story focuses on Turbo (voiced by Ryan Reynolds), the little snail who dreamed of being in the Indy 500 and racing with the big boys. In the real world, he “works” in a tomato garden with a bunch of other snails checking the freshness of each tomato. His brother Chet (the inimitable Paul Giamatti) also works there and keeps an eye on his brother. Turbo is too caught up in his daydreams about being fast that he tends to make a lot of mistakes. Eventually, he goes too far and both he and Chet get kicked out of the garden.

However, something happens to Turbo out in the world, and he gets infused with a super-serum that changes his molecular structure and makes him super-fast.

Chet and Turbo end up at a strip mall where they meet a group of other racing snails (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Maya Rudolph and Ben Schwartz) and the humans who race them, a mechanic, a pawn shop guy, a nail salon woman (voiced by Michelle Rodriguez, Richard Jenkins, and Ken Jeong) and two brothers who run a taco shop (voiced by Luis Guzman and Michael Pena).

The taco truck driver Tito discovers Turbo and decides to enter him in the Indy 500 qualifying trials. He qualifies, but they have to come up with the money to actually enter the race. The rest of the plot is reasonably predictable, and ends happily with a sweet ending.

3-starsIt’s a pretty cute story about overcoming obstacles and naysayers, and the characters are all pretty funny. But with a cast like that, how could they not be? It’s a basic plot, but it was cute nonetheless. I doubt there will be a sequel, but I’m sort of sick of them doing sequels on every animated movie that has even a soupcon of success.

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of hurt. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile disfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotence. Some of medications fuel desire. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?
