Psych – Have A Giggle

21 October 2011 by Jess

If you haven’t been watching Psych! for the last few years, you have seriously been missing out. Not only is it funny, but it’s nerdy and silly and really great at pop culture references from the 80s and early 90s. If there’s one thing I love, it’s obscure pop culture references that only dorks like […]

Why Javier Bardem Will Be The Best Bond Villain of the Past 20 Years

13 October 2011 by Jess

I just learned who will be playing the villain in the next James Bond film: Javier Bardem. Yes, the really good-looking Spaniard from Eat, Pray, Love. Here’s why this was probably the BEST move the Bond film creators could have made at this point, after an inexplicably poor showing for the previous film, Quantum of […]

Why Free Agents Got Canceled

12 October 2011 by Jess

Unfortunately, Free Agents on NBC was recently canceled after just a couple episodes. While I liked the show, it was lacking a few things that would have allowed it to get picked up for the season. There wasn’t enough chemistry between Kathryn Hahn and Hank Azaria. Individually, they were great. They were each funny and […]

Review: “Drive” To the Movies

8 October 2011 by Jess

I saw the movie Drive the other day. Ryan Gosling is on a roll this year. Crazy Stupid Love, Drive, and The Ides of March, all released within a few months, and all worth seeing. He plays three very different characters in each movie, a sexy womanizer, a quiet brute, and a savvy political aid. […]

Why I’m Going to Keep Watching Charlie’s Angels on Thursdays Instead of Whitney

3 October 2011 by Jess

Thursday nights have always been crowded. Depending on the time of year, you have everything from Burn Notice and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to Grey’s Anatomy and The Office. This fall has been especially challenging, as NBC’s new Prime Suspect is tough competition for Private Practice. I am loyal to Kate Walsh, despite what […]

Friday Nights Are All Right

1 October 2011 by Jess

Fridays have little to offer someone like me in terms of television programming. There are things on that other people like, Kitchen Nightmares, CSI: New York, Blue Bloods, Supernatural, but generally, I choose Friday nights to do things other than sit in front of the TV because I just don’t like those shows. The only […]

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
