New Fall Shows In Danger Already

29 September 2012 by Jess

With all the major premieres out of the way this week, Yahoo! has already put out their list of shows they think might not make it through the season. I usually hate this list, because they always seem to pick the new shows I love, but this time, I actually agree with a few of […]

Tuesday: The Big C, Period Pieces and Flakes

26 September 2012 by Jess

Had some errands to run this morning, so this one’s going up a little later than I originally intended. Here’s a recap of the Tuesday night shows that were in conflict with some of the other regulars. Parenthood Wow–heavy stuff. Zeek gets pulled over and then arrested with the grandkids in the car. Max gets […]

Crazy, Funny, Dramatic Tuesdays

26 September 2012 by Jess

New Girl So excited to have New Girl back! Waiting to see what happens with Jess’s job situation, as it was a bit of a shock to find out that she gets laid off right off the bat. Obviously a terrible cocktail waitress, but hopefully she can find another job tha twas as fulfilling as […]

Monday Tuning Out Revolution and Mob Doctor Hopes

25 September 2012 by Jess

Revolution All right, this one is getting kicked to the curb. I watched the second episode, and it still didn’t convince me I have to watch it to find out what happens. I did find it a little more engaging than the pilot, but I just can’t buy into it. They are just trying too […]

NBC Tuesday: Please Go On!

19 September 2012 by Jess

What a long day! I was in my car for about 2 or 3 hours straight driving to the airport and back, and I think the sun glare may have baked my poor little eyeballs a little. However, I was able to stay up long enough to catch NBC Tuesday! NBC Tuesday: Week 2 Go […]

Dark and Twisty, Meet Mediocrity

18 September 2012 by Jess

Mob Doctor This one was actually much better than I expected. The TV spots made it look a little cheesy, but once you see the characters and the dialogue in the context of the show and dialogue, they work. I’ve liked Jordana Spiro for a long time–truly saddened when My Boys went off the air–but […]

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
