Tuesday and Thursday Comedies–Mostly Wins, One Loss

19 November 2012 by Jess

Mixing things up with the recaps since I’m so far behind. All comedies here! Go On I think I usually miss the opening credits, because it seems like I saw them for the first time! Ryan makes friends with Owen, whose brother is in a coma, by playing Halo pretty much non-stop. This is the […]

Thursday Dramas: Heavy Hitters, Action, and Histories

16 November 2012 by Jess

Last Resort-“Nuke It Out” Sooooooooooooooo disappointed in James. How dare he sleep with Grace!? She has an excuse. She’s been on her own out there, ponytailed and poised, and she didn’t know about the bartender. But what the hell happened to Tani when he mentally agreed to this thing? Did he just forget her? Apparently […]

Catch-Up: Revenge and Tuesday Night’s Shows

14 November 2012 by Jess

I’m way behind, and will be for the rest of the week, probably, so I’ll just jump into it! Revenge Kara, Amanda and Mason go rogue. Amanda goes after Mason when he refuses to give up on the story of her and Emily–spinning it that they were lovers in juvie–as if women couldn’t stay that […]

Chicago Fire, Last Resort, Grey’s–Good, Better, Best!

10 November 2012 by Jess

Chicago Fire The boom is lowered a little closer on Casey (just discovered I’ve been spelling this one wrong–man, I’m having trouble with the names in this show!) in this episode. The dirty cop hassles Hallie now too, and the firefighters are trying to find a way to take care of the situation, working with […]

Thursday Night: Burn It Down

9 November 2012 by Jess

Sorry this is a little late–yesterday was a long day! I fell behind, again, on my daily word count goal for Nano, and I only had prepared my evaluation of the Burn Notice premiere before I had to catch some sleep. In any case, here it is! Thursday’s recap: Burn Notice In the end, Michael […]

Revealing Secrets Followed by Melodrama?

8 November 2012 by Jess

American Horror Story: Asylum Anne Frank, Nazis, aversion therapy, and Monsignor is not the holiest of them all after all! Wow, what a revealing episode! First of all, Grace and Kit finally act on those feelings that it’s been so clear that they’ve had for each other. Unfortunately, they get caught. Punishment intended: sterilization. Wow. […]

Monday Night–Better Late Than Never

6 November 2012 by Jess

How I Met Your Mother Who would have thought that Robin would outlast the Autumn of Break-Ups? Not me! In any case, she’s dating a local cable TV chef who still doesn’t have a catch-phrase. How long can it possibly last? Plus, there are only 6 Mondays left before the end of autumn anyway–and CBS […]

Sunday Night Recap and a Busy Week Ahead!

5 November 2012 by Jess

Revenge The big wedding shocker? Emily planted evidence in a trailer to incriminate Conrad in the white-haired man’s murder. Duhn duhn duhn. I was expecting something better. I don’t know what, but I was expecting something better. Nolan starts poking at Padma’s inquiries about Nolcorps and Grayson Global. Daniel and Emily share a dance. Kara […]

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
