Thursday Gaming and Monday Outbursts

7 January 2014 by Jess

Recaps from last week’s episode of the Crazy Ones and Monday night’s new episode of Almost Human are coming, but first, I have to complain and make you aware of ABC’s new inconvenient format: ABC recently changed their website format and video streaming options, so now I, and possibly we, can’t watch episodes I/we missed. […]

6 January 2014 by Jess

Catching up from last Thursday and Friday! The Michael J. Fox Show Double the parties, double the fun, right? Graham has a sleepover planned, and Annie is determined not to let it get out of control like she did with Ian’s sleepovers. Meanwhile Ian wants to make sure that Graham’s party is a success so […]

Review: Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

5 January 2014 by Jess

Weird title, indie movie, you may not have even heard of it, or if you did, you thought it sounded ridiculous and didn’t even bother checking into it. I don’t blame you. Well, that’s not true. I sort of do. If you didn’t even look far enough to find out that it starred two of […]

27 December 2013 by Jess

Blogiday: (noun) a blogger’s/contributor’s extended absence from a blog, distinguished as such by the blogger’s full intention of returning to regular posts on the blog at a later date; e.g. I’m taking a much needed blogiday so I can catch up on my reading. Origin: a combination of the words “blog” and “holiday”, usually referring […]

The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Episode 19: Demi-God Edition

10 November 2013 by Jess

I went out at 10:30 Thursday night and saw the new Marvel movie, Thor: The Dark World. Spoiler alert, it was AWESOME 🙂 So, with our favorite defender of Earth and demi-god in residence in the movies this week, I thought I’d feature the man behind the hero, Chris Hemsworth, in this week’s episode of […]

Friday Night: More Zombies and New Jobs

4 November 2013 by Jess

Hawaii Five-0 Zombies here too. Or so even Max is inclined to think. The man’s a scientist and the first words out of his mouth are “it’s a zombie”. He gives an explanation, but it’s a little weak. The victim was dosed with drugs and escaped from what initially looks like a robbery gone wrong. […]

Sunday Cover-ups and Curses, Monday Hauntings and Insomnia, and a Tuesday Full Moon!

2 November 2013 by Jess

Sorry these are so late, but it’s been a long week. In addition to the stupid tendonitis, I had a weird dizziness/vertigo issue earlier this week that finally seems to be wearing off, so I haven’t spent much time on the computer this week except for work. Plus, Nano has begun, and while I’ve topped […]

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
