Blogiday: (noun) a blogger’s/contributor’s extended absence from a blog, distinguished as such by the blogger’s full intention of returning to regular posts on the blog at a later date; e.g. I’m taking a much needed blogiday so I can catch up on my reading. Origin: a combination of the words “blog” and “holiday”, usually referring to a period of time away from one’s blog during busy times of year, like the holidays.

However, I’m going to get back to it in January, I promise, and I have plans to swap the blog over to WordPress with a newer, simpler, and much cleaner design and layout next month as well! Don’t hold me to that–changing a blog from Blogger to WordPress is not the easiest thing in the world, especially since I’ve got over 250 posts!–but that’s the plan!
