Raylan’s on the hunt for the man who cut off Josiah’s foot, and as he hears it, it was Drew Thompson, the fugitive he’s already chasing.
Ava and Boyd get engaged. That’s the big takeaway in this one, I thought. I know Boyd is technically one of the “bad guys”, but he’s the bad guy you love. And we all love Ava, no matter how many bad things she does (killing her husband, running a whorehouse, etc.), because she’s beautiful and underneath it all, she’s a good person.
It’ll be interesting to see who this Drew Thompson guy is once Raylan or Boyd catches him. I’m not too concerned with Johnny’s plot to kill Boyd and take over his business. Boyd is too good a character for that to be successful, though I’m sure it’ll definitely have an impact when Johnny makes his move.
