Tuesday Night Needs to Pick Up the Pace: Except Justified, Which is Perfect the Way It Is

17 January 2013 by Jess

New Girl

Nick’s dad (special guest appearance by Dennis Farina!) shows up for a visit. He wrangles Jess into buying a horse to sell back for a better price. She knows how upset Nick is with his dad, so she abandons them to try to get them to talk it out.

It’s fun having guest appearances from people like Carla Gugino and Dennis Farina, but something needs to HAPPEN with this show. Someone should get married or get a brain tumor or something. It’s a sitcom, but there needs to be a plot underlying the comedy that gets moved forward at some point!

The New Normal

David and Bryan work on finding a nanny for after the baby arrives. They realize they both want to stay home with the baby, so they use Shania as their guinea pig. They send Goldie on a spa trip to Sedona and try to take care of Shania on their own at home. Needless to say, things go awry, for both of the dads-to-be.

I’m not sure how many more pre-baby jitters episodes this show has left. They either need to redirect things toward Shania, Goldie’s future, or Nana, or Goldie needs to give birth–though I’m sure that won’t happen until the season finale.

Justified

Seriously: I LOVE Billy the preacher. Can’t get enough of him. I don’t know what the ultimate play is, what he’s really doing in Harlan–though I’m fairly certain it’s not just to spread the Good Word–but I’m glad to have him on board.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Boyd and Ava, and I love Raylan, but the preacher by far one of the most enjoyable new faces (antagonists?) to hit the show since it started.

Boyd shows up to confront the preacher, quoting scripture just as naturally as the preacher does, and while I know it’s just to keep his criminal enterprises going, he makes some good points, and Walter Goggins has never been so good as he is on this show.

Raylan turns away a patron trying to get an early/free beer, and when the man returns later, he finds out the guy is his blond girlfriend’s husband.

Nice to see Tim and Art in this episode though. As much as I enjoyed last week’s all-Raylan episode, I do miss the banter among those fellas and Raylan. I do miss Winona though. She was the perfect woman for him, which is probably why she left.

Wednesday recaps, and all those pesky shows that air at the same time Tuesday nights.

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of hurt. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an hard-on suitable for intercourse. Having erectile dysfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to emasculation. Some of medications fuel wish. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
