Thursday Dramas Heat Up and Try to Make You Cry

15 January 2013 by Jess

XO Sam, despondent about his wife dying, though she isn’t dead!

I didn’t quite get to Elementary yet, but I believe they’re off this week, so I may take my time getting to it. Apologies! In the meantime, enjoy catching up with last week’s Last Resort and Grey’s!

Last Resort

Marcus has to deter a ship going after his new allies, the Chinese, who are delivering food and supplies for the sub and the island. While his adversary assumes that he won’t fire on an American ship, Grace and James come up with a way to fire the torpedo without annihiliating the ship.

Sam disappears on his own after he thinks Christine is dead. He runs into Prosser and they debate whose fight is more worthwhile. Meanwhile Kylie is conspiring with a group of military men and governing men about overthrowing the government, such a group includes Ernie Hudson, whom we just saw on NBC’s Guys with Kids last week. Things go sour when one man tries to back out and gets himself shot.

When it comes to treason, you can’t stick a toe in the water and hope it works out in your favor. Either you’re all in, or you’re screwed, something the general learned when he tried to back out.

Grey’s FB people are slacking on the photo updates!

Grey’s Anatomy

Bailey has almost completley forgotten her wedding as she fights to save Adele’s life. Once Meredith finds out what’s going on, she rushes to the hospital to try to relieve Bailey so she can come back and get married.

Instead, she gets roped into a complicated surgery to repair Adele’s heart. The chief looks on from the gallery and as Bailey and Meredith begin to run out of options, he speaks up and suggests a solution that saves Adele’s life. The surgery complete, Bailey returns to her wedding, now sure that she wants to marry Ben.

This is actually from the upcoming episode, because last week, Derek was still in the hospital

This was a sexy episode, with Owen and Cristina, Avery and Stephanie, Callie and Arizona, and Karev and his intern. Owen and Cristina finalize their divorce, and Owen comes to a realization that they don’t need to confine their relationship to marriage and they can continue to pursue their love outside of marriage.

As to Adele, she dies shortly after Bailey leaves, but the chief keeps it quiet so she can enjoy the rest of her wedding. He recalls his own wedding all those years ago, and his and Adele’s song. Adele was never really a protagonist on this show, so it’s not horribly surprising or painful to see her die at this point, but watching the chief go through his grief is painful.

Their kiss, their passion, is pretty much how I define “can’t live without you.”

In spite of his affair with Ellis Grey, in spite of Adele’s Alzheimer’s, and in spite of the fact that he stayed at the hospital too many times when she asked him to come home, there’s no doubt that he loved her, and losing her so suddenly was incredibly difficult.

As to Owen and Cristina–THANK YOU. They never should have gotten married in the first place. It was an awkward wedding in the first place, they took over for Meredith and Derek, after all, and they were so much hotter and more passionate about each other before they tried to fit into a pretty little box called wedded bliss.

Up next:

I’m still working on recaps, as I’ve fallen inexorably (not sure if that’s the right word…) behind. It was a busy weekend and I still didn’t catch up on everything. I’m staying on top of watching the shows, but it’s been a bit challenging finding the time to write the post. Look for more soon!

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of pain. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile dysfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotence. Some of medications fuel wish. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
