Parenthood
After a little pushing, Sarah and Hank go on a date. Sarah is weirded out in the morning when she wakes up alone, but it turns out that Hank got up early to bring her croissants in bed. I think they’re a better fit than her or Mark, but I still like Mark a little better on principle. Hank’s a little too abrasive.
Crosby and Jasmine have to decide whether to loan Jasmine’s mother some money after she loses her job. When Crosby decides to do the “right thing” and help out family with some money, Jasmine hits him with something bigger. Her mom’s financial situation is worse than they thought, and it comes to her moving in with them. Crosby isn’t happy about it, but family is family, and he realizes it’s making Jasmine and Jabar happy, so he comes around.
Kristina finally starts losing her hair from the chemo, and she decides to shave it all off. She shaved it REALLY short! In so doing, she freaks Adam out in the middle of the night asking him how she looks and he in turn gets her a wig, thinking it’s what she wanted, but also, it would make him feel a little better about it.
They go away for a night at a hotel and she shows up in a pretty red wig that makes her look really young and kinda trampy, but in a good way.
However, she realizes how ridiculous she looks with the wig on, and they leave the hotel together without it.
Looking ahead, next week’s preview reveals that Drew and Amy are pregnant. Somehow, I didn’t see that coming. But as much as I want to see Charlotte’s babies on Private Practice, I think I may have to find out what happens here with the teen pregnancy.
Guys with Kids
An episode of flashbacks: to Chris’s first girlfriend Sage, the birth of Nick and Emily’s daughter, the first set of twins for Marny and Gary, and Chris’s wedding to Sheila. All leading up to Ernie’s first word, which is ironically, “Sage”.
American Horror Story
Arden revives Kit after their attempt to draw the aliens back and in so doing, Grace returns to the asylum, heavily pregnant with Kit’s child.
Mary Eunice takes the Monsignor’s virginity. After being crucified, literally, it’s not too surprising he isn’t able to put up much of a fight, plus, you know, she is the devil, and how likely is it that anyone could say no to the devil when they meet him face to face?
However, the Monsignor gets the best of her in the end as Jude advises him that she must be killed. He pushes her off the staircase to her death, and the Angel takes Sister Mary Eunice and, seemingly, the devil inside her.
Thredson is still making trouble, trying to get the tape Lana made of his confession to the Bloody Face murders, but luckily Lana is a step ahead of him.
Jude gets the shock treatment again, but good. To the point that she gets up and hallucinates singing the “Name Game” in the common room, dressed up like she used to when she performed.
Arden comes through and shows a little unperverted, unabashed humanity when confronted with the reality that his experiments have failed, and his love for Mary Eunice has been polluted by the devil.
Then, in a surprise (or maybe not so surprising) twist, he hops on the cart with Mary Eunice into the furnace for cremation, to be burned alive. Will he be rescued, or is this the end of the good/semi-evil doctor?
Chicago Fire
Shea is in the hospital with a serious head injury while Dawson seems perfectly fine. Severide is completely broken up about it, but can’t quit the pills that he knows drove her away. Dawson sees he’s up to something, and even though he brings Shea flowers when she wakes up, she tells him she doens’t plan on coming back home with him.
Cruz is still beating himself up over leaving the gangster in the fire, especially after everyone else in the house starts saying it was karma.
Up next:
