Double Grey’s and Chicago Fire

8 December 2012 by Jess

Grey’s Anatomy (11/29/12)

Arizona returns to work, only to go right into a really long surgery. The hospital is blaming Owen for the plane crash because he signed off on the airline that the doctors were on without looking into their security history.

The big scandal is whether April is pregnant. Jackson offers his full support and even suggests marriage, but once they find out she isn’t pregnant, April overdoes her relief and sends Jackson in the other direction.

I don’t understand her. It’s like, when she was a virgin, undying love was an aspiration and then after she sleeps with Jackson, she immediately switches into single girl mode and is too stupid to see the great guy right in front of her.

Best part though–Mer’s pregnant! It’s early, but I hope things work out. She and Derek deserve it. As to Owen and Cristina, it looks like divorce, but I’m still hoping they are able to find each other again.

[Referring to Stephanie, aka Grumpy] She’s good. Better than you. No gloating. -Cristina

Grey’s Anatomy (12/6/12)

This one focuses on the interns, and the attendings’ trying to get a grasp on the fact that a few years earlier, they used to be interns.

Jo feuds with Alex over a 15 year old who gave up her baby, as well as trying to get him to stop calling her “Princess”. She eventually reveals her modest upbringing, not unlike Alex’s, and how she had to work for everything she has.

Meanwhile, Meredith has Heather manning her phone and trying to get a hold of Derek’s sister to donate a nerve to help fix his hand. Derek is livid when he finds out, but not as upset as his sisters who can’t believe he didn’t call them and tell them what was going on.

Neve Campbell shows up as Lizzie, one of Derek’s sisters, and because they picked somebody halfway famous, even if it was ten years ago, Lizzie is going to be appearing in a few episodes until Derek’s hand is fixed, or attempted to be fixed.

Unfortunately, Heather picks up on Meredith’s OB/GYN’s office calling to confirm her ultrasound, and Meredith, panicking, tells her to hang up immediately. Later, she tells Heather to forget it and never mention it again.

Had to squeeze this one in here!

While Heather is sweet to offer her congratulations, I completely understand Meredith not wanting anybody to know. It’s kind of a higher-risk pregnancy because of all the fertility issues she had before, so not wanting to jinx it makes sense.

Chicago Fire

Munchausen by Proxy syndrome always reminds me of Yes Man, because that was the name of Zooey Deschanel’s band that nobody came to see play, until Jim Carrey says “yes” and shows up. Tangent, but that’s how uncommon this syndrome is, except on crime and drama television. However, in this episode, it’s kind of scary seeing it play out.

Mills is having trouble dealing with what he saw at a particularly difficult rescue, a girl hit by a train and her body scattered across the tracks. With that kind of horror as a regular part of his job, he does not know whether he should keep going or quit.

Casey comes through and shares something with him, taking him to visit a kid he once pulled out of a fire. She’s badly scarred, but doing well overall, and it seems that Mills finally understands that even though you can’t save everyone, you really can make a difference in the people’s lives that you do save.

Here, just for fun. “Who are you” by Munchausen by Proxy!

The catch-ups continue. I’m getting close to wrapping them all up! I think…

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of pain. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile disfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotency. Some of medications fuel desire. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
