Monday Night Giggles

20 November 2012 by Jess

I know I posted this one already, but it fits better with this week’s show, so, here it is again 🙂

I have been trying to remember to post this for days! Here’s the new trailer for Oz, the Great and Powerful! Once again, it’s on iTunes, so I can’t embed it, but you can check out the Yahoo! article while you’re at it 🙂

How I Met Your Mother

Marshall and Lily get back in the game in this episode! Yay! Ted debates when he ever gave his “stamp of approval” to anyone or anything, and they tell Marshall his is a stamp tramp, giving his approval too freely.

Barney has to leave the Lusty Leopard because of Quinn, and discovers he has strip clubs all over town (and the tri-state area) vying for his business. He recruits Robin to help him narrow it down. He and Robin go out to celebrate his choice and, both a little drunk, he tells her he always has fun going out with her, and kisses her. She goes with it for a moment, until she pulls back and tells him they can’t do this.

Stinson down! Damn it! When are these two crazy kids going to work things out???

2 Broke Girls

I’ve decided this show is a guilty pleasure. There’s not a whole lot to gain from it except funny one-liners and extremely inappropriate comments that I feel guilty tweeting.

This episode, Max and Caroline take a couple of Amish kids under their wing, get a barn for Chestnut built in the bargain, and have a few good laughs at how easily the younger one gets aroused.

Meanwhile, Caroline goes on her first date with Andy, who just learns who she really is, and feels like he might not be able to live up to her “princess” standards. It works out though, for now, with them smooching in the street, while Max dukes it out with the cat she accuses of throwing condoms over their fence into Chestnut’s yard. The cat wins.

Hawaii Five-0

The bad guys weren’t bad enough. The murder was not interesting enough. And the subplot fell short. Mary (Steve’s sister) comes back to town so he can tell her their mom is alive. She refuses to visit her because she lived so long without her, but the old man she takes care of tells her to do it anyway or she might regret it.

Max is finally on his feet without a cane, so that’s kind of cool. The murder focuses on a dead kid who was a computer hacker who taught his brother his password, a combination of elements from the periodic table.

Best part, probably the car chase at the end where they have to rescue Kono from a hostage getaway. Steve hangs under the truck and then gets dragged  a-ways before he can finally crawl on top so the other Five-0 members to blow the door off the back of the truck.

This week:

New Tuesday and Wednesday all around except for Nashville. Thursday is Thanksgiving here in the US, so all regular Thursday night programming is on break until next week.

Stay tuned for Tuesday night comedies and Tuesday catch-ups later this week!

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of hurt. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
