Thursday Dramas: Heavy Hitters, Action, and Histories

Last Resort-“Nuke It Out”

4-starsSooooooooooooooo disappointed in James. How dare he sleep with Grace!? She has an excuse. She’s been on her own out there, ponytailed and poised, and she didn’t know about the bartender. But what the hell happened to Tani when he mentally agreed to this thing? Did he just forget her? Apparently not, since he went back to her place afterwards, but it’s tainted now. Bad James.

Searching for the key-stealer.

Meanwhile, Sam and Marcus are trying to track down the key that was stolen in the last episode–it turns out that it was one of their own crew, Cortez (I think that’s her name), who took it. Shame on her. After she got all chummy with Grace.

Meanwhile, back home, Christine teams up with Kylie Sinclair to bring attention to the US government’s persecution and cover-up of the USS Colorado situation. I’m waiting for this to blow up in her face–no way the government lets this go on for too long.

I don’t understand why more people aren’t watching this show. Andre Braugher and Scott Speedman are scary good. The plot is a little slow at times, but there shouldn’t be a stigma against shows that make you think and *gasp* pay attention to follow what’s going on.

[To Serrat] Try me again and I will be your judge, jury and executioner. -Marcus

Burn Notice

5-starsSo, Michael killed Card, and now has to get out from under the CIA, who has locked down the building he’s in. How does he get out? Rides on top of the elevator, gets into the parking garage, and punches a hole through the back wall with a car.

[With regard to getting out of parking garages] Of course with the right large body, older model car, you can create your own exit. -Michael Westen

Shot from the upcoming episode 11/29

Sam gets pinched by Olivia Riley, aka “Heavy Hitter”, the CIA lead on Michael’s case, and Michael, Fi, and Jesse work on coming up with a way to bust him out.

Sidenote: I could live without the “previously on Burn Notice” thing. If you didn’t watch it last time, you fail at life, and that’s your own fault. No need to pander to those people.

It’s taken me a few years, but Jesse has finally grown on me. I really didn’t like his storyline and didn’t like his role on the show these past few seasons. He wasn’t one of the original three–Sam, Fi, and Michael. But, over the last season and the start of this one, he’s really been given a chance to play some more interesting parts and take the lead on some things and it’s a nice change to playing fourth fiddle to the rest of these three, who are hard acts to follow.

Isn’t Michael lucky to have Maddy for a mom? Clever lady that one. Pretending to be hard of hearing so she can pick up on the police radio.

You know who Olivia Riley reminds me of? Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive.

Richard Kimball [Harrison Ford]: I didn’t kill my wife!
Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard [Tommy Lee Jones]: I don’t care.

Harsh. Riley also says she doesn’t care after she hears Michael’s side of the story. “This ends here,” she tells him after they drop her off in BFE Florida with no phone. Yeah, right. Lady, you ain’t never gonna catch the cowboy that ain’t never been caught. Michael Westen didn’t survive this long without a few tricks up his sleeve, a few really good friends, and being generally awesome at everything he does. So there. 😛

Up next:

Slightly off topic, but with Burn back on for the season, they’re airing previews for SUITS, back in January 2013! Harvey Specter is my hero. Plus #whedony love for Gina Torres who is in my favorite of the roles I’ve seen her in, yes, even more than Firefly.

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of ache. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile dysfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotency. Some of medications fuel wish. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
