Of Kale and Killers-Guys with Kids and AHS: Asylum

15 November 2012 by Jess

Guys with Kids

3-starsGary and Marny go on a kale diet for six days–no small feat and who saw it coming that that was a failure waiting to happen. Sheila and Chris plan two separate birthday parties for their son, until they realize that they should be working together for such important events in their baby’s life.

Looking for someone, Lana? Don’t look too hard…

American Horror Story: Asylum

I’ve been questioning Thredson’s motives for a couple weeks now, and it turns out, I had good reason–BLOODYFACE!! Did not see that coming. I really thought it was Arden. Thanks FX. You got me. Well done.

He did break Lana out of Briarcliff, but only so he could take advantage of her and show her his little taxidermy fetish. First thoughts: Sylar (NBC’s Heroes) is back. Terrifying. Except, as bad as Sylar was, I have a nasty feeling that Bloodyface, being on FX instead of network, has the potential to go farther and be uglier and more terrifying than Sylar ever was, and that guy was effing scary.

5-starsSister Mary Eunice drags the disfigured Shelly out of Arden’s dungeon to protect him from the police investigation and Sister Jude’s accusations. She emerges near a schoolyard and sends everyone screaming at her disfigurement. I am amazed that she has survived this long. It almost seems as if she is not truly one of Arden’s creatures and still has some semblance of the woman she used to be. If that is the case, I expect she’ll play a role in Lana’s exposee on Briarcliff. If Lana survives Thredson’s basement that is.

Speaking of which, I meant to remark on how similar that basement looked to the one Martin Vanger had for his serial killer creepiness in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Coincidence? I think not.

The story focused around Anne Frank’s family (husband and child) in this episode, and sadly, I didn’t find it to be that interesting. Except, lo and behold, lobotomy equals Stepford Wife. Thanks, but I’ve seen that one already. Twice, in fact. Moving on.

Kit gets arrested! WTF. Obviously Thredson used him as a focus for him and Lana to escape, but Kit didn’t really confess. He was just doing what the doctor asked of him which he thought was supposed to be therapeutic and helping him avoid the electric chair. What will happen next?

Since they threw in Thredson as the chief villain, it’s anyone’s guess for next week!

Up next:

Once again, look for more Tuesday catch-ups and the rest of Wednesday night’s shows soon! I’m expecting to have them sometime Friday, unless I fall further behind.

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of hurt. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile dysfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotency. Some of medications fuel wish. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
