Sunday Night Recap and a Busy Week Ahead!

5 November 2012 by Jess

Revenge

The big wedding shocker? Emily planted evidence in a trailer to incriminate Conrad in the white-haired man’s murder. Duhn duhn duhn. I was expecting something better. I don’t know what, but I was expecting something better.

Nolan starts poking at Padma’s inquiries about Nolcorps and Grayson Global. Daniel and Emily share a dance. Kara is on to Victoria’s lies about the white-haired man, whom it seems she was married to/involved with. Charlotte and Declan reignite a few sparks. Victoria sleeps with a gun under her pillow, who knew, right?

The big shocker for me was that Jack proposed to Amanda. What? I mean, I know she almost died and you love your new baby and all, but really?

I thought that the writer, Mason Treadwell, was going to blow Amanda out of the water this week with the whole–you’re not really Amanda Clarke thing and it looks like he only came to that possibility at the end of the episode, again. The real question is, what will he do with that information, or better yet, what is Emily going to do to him when she finds out he knows?

This went up on Wednesday last week, but I thought I’d repost it anyway 🙂

I really admire that Emily does her own wetwork in this show. Most rich people have somebody else take care of the murders and the clean-up and the pinning it on somebody else stuff. Like the Graysons–that’s their MO. But Emily does it all herself. She even kept the white-haired man on ice until she could plant his body. That’s dedication.

It’s kind of strange seeing Daniel so vicious about the company stuff now. It’s good that he’s able to keep pace with the rest of his family now, but he may have taken it a step too far. And I still don’t get what Ashley is still doing there. She had her role last season, but this season, she seems grossly unimportant.

As to Aiden’s involvement, it’s nice that he likes Emily and all, but I still don’t find him that likeable or trustworthy. I’m not sure what he’s still doing there either except that he keeps helping Emily without her asking for it.

This week:

Monday night, with no hurricanes in the immediate forecast (that I know of, anyway), CBS is set to go on as scheduled, meaning that the Halloween episodes that would have aired last week are airing this week. Five-0 for sure, not sure about the others.

As to Tuesday, in case you forgot (like I sort of did), it’s Election Day! GO VOTE if you haven’t already. I did mail-in this year, so I’m all set, but please go put in your two cents if you’re a US citizen eligible to vote in the election, and PLEASE take the time to really consider what the candidates stand for and what their appointment will mean not just for you, but for the country as a whole.

Because of the election, none of the regularly scheduled shows will air this Tuesday except for Underemployed on MTV, which I’ve already mostly forgotten about. I’ll be tuning in to the Daily Show and the Colbert Report for election coverage, because let’s face it, their coverage will be more fun and it won’t have to be on all damn night! It’s a relief now, with Nano and all, that some shows are finally take a week or two off from time to time, but we’re going to have a real scheduling mess in a few weeks when LEVERAGE RETURNS because once again they’ve moved it to a new day, and of course, they chose the day that everybody else did–Tuesday.

4 days is too long.
CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE MICHAEL WESTEN AND BURN NOTICE FUN!

Speaking of cable shows returning, where are my fellow BURNERS? Burn Notice returns this Thursday with a 2 hour premiere! Translation: Sorry, Last Resort and, yes, you too, Grey’s Anatomy, but you got bumped. Even though Burn will be on again later that evening, I plan to live-tweet, so I’m not missing the local first-time premiere!

As to its effect on the Thursday line-up in coming weeks, Burn Notice takes precedent always on my list, so Last Resort is going to be relegated to Hulu in the meantime. However, Burn Notice seasons are notoriously too short, so by the time everyone comes back from the holiday break, that time slot ought to be open again.

Despite a few breaks in the week’s line-up, there’s still plenty to cover, and if you’re Nano-ing, there are still plenty of words to write! (Did you notice my new word count widget in the sidebar? 🙂 Oh yeah, I’m kicking some noveling butt! So far, anyway.)

TUNE IN for CBS Monday night!

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of hurt. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile disfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile malfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotence. Some of medications fuel desire. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
