Thursday Night Catch-Ups: Last Resort, Beauty and the Beast

28 October 2012 by Jess

Captain and XO in dress whites for negotations 🙂

Last Resort

Marcus: “If you say my son’s name again, I will crush the jelly from your eyes.”

Yeah. That’s what the US government gets for trying to blame this situation on his son’s death. US military reps show up to try to negotiate the return of the submarine and one weasel-y fellow says the wrong thing, basically turning Marcus against the whole thing. Sam is stuck trying to mediate between an angry Marcus and the unyielding government.

The government tries to pull a fast one! Shame on them! Just as Sam accepts a deal for him and Grace to go home, no prosecution, tribunal or anything, a senior White House advisor who is also there assisting in the negotiations rips up the agreement and initiates an order to fire on the Colorado.

The cavalry arrives: US reps including Grace’s father
to negotiate the return of the USS Colorado.

The secretary (Grace’s father) grabs a gun and shoots before she can confirm the order, but the other weasel confirms it anyway, and the secretary gets shot himself. Grace handles it admirably though, leaving James in the wind, so to speak, who was diving in the area.

Sam’s wife gets a little help from an unlikely source in proving the Colorado’s innocence–the young lady who helped design the military technology aboard the sub.

All’s well that ends well–James is rescued and returns to the bar where he and Tani finally share a kiss that we’ve all been waiting for since the first time those two laid eyes on each other 😀

Beauty and the Beast

This show has its moments, but I think I’m going to remove it from the rotation at Always Happy to Entertain You. It’s a fun show to watch if you’re looking to kill some time, but it’s not quite awesome enough to gain a permanent spot here. I’ll probably continue watching off and on, but it won’t appear on the blog anymore unless I hit an episode that’s too good to pass up.

Up next:

We’ve got new Revenge on Sunday night! Looking ahead, ABC is on break on Thursday to cover the Country Music Awards (sorry, but, gag). And it’s possible that AHS: Asylum may also be taking Halloween off (gasp!). The FX schedule isn’t very solid for Wednesday night according to Xfinity.

Tune in for your weekly dose of Revenge on Sunday night!

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of ache. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile dysfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotency. Some of medications fuel desire. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
