The Super Week-Long Catch-Up! Last Resort, Up All Night

20 October 2012 by Jess

Two more! Here are the catch-ups on Last Resort and Up All Night!

Last Resort

The sub is on the verge of mutiny, and so the captain decides to allow those who want to leave to do so. However, if too many of them leave, they won’t have enough crew members to continue operations.

Meanwhile, James has to bury his friend because he’s been in the barkeep, Tani’s, refrigerator too long. When he gets back, he opens up about why it was so important to try to have his friend taken back to the US to be buried, and James and Tani she end up having a tender moment, if one-sided (he falls asleep).

Sophie is supposed to be looking for some kind of minerals in the soil that will make Julian, the local militia leader, happy/rich, but she seems to be stalling, perhaps to keep the naval officers safe? It’s clear she has a thing for Sam, but because she knows he’s married, I can’t imagine she’d insert herself into anything too serious.

Meanwhile, Sam’s wife is at home dealing with the backlash from the press and other citizens who believe him to be a traitor to his country. She speaks out for him, and against the government, demanding justice and the truth about what really happened to the USS Colorado.

I think what would really be good for this show is if it were two hours instead of one. They have so many subplots going, and it takes a little longer to get from point A to point B in the plot for many of them, a longer run time would probably benefit the viewers. The show could keep the audience on their toes, waiting for the twist more so than it does at present.

There’s a lot going on, and as much as I enjoy watching it, it isn’t one that you can really multi-task while you watch, as I’ve been trying and failing to do. I often have to re-watch it to get the full detail on what’s been going on.

Just a thought. Hear me, ABC?

Up All Night

This one was by far the funniest episode this season!

Chris: “Mr. Brinkley? Please. That’s Billy Joel’s ex-father-in-law.”

Ava: “What’s satsun? It’s yoga for truth company.”

Chris and Reagan are having trouble finding a sitter for Saturday nights. The good one they had ends up dating Scott on Saturday nights, so they resort to stealing their neighbor’s sitter at 3 times the pay with a 5 hour minimum so they can get out. With an appearance by the Silversun Pickups, this one was funny, sweet, and entertaining all the way through.

Up Next:

I will get to Grey’s Anatomy, Beauty and the Beast, Elementary and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia soon! Also, look for a review of The Descendants, with George Clooney, coming soon as well!

It affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the cause of some types of pain. There are many medicines which give you things you need to be ready on your own terms. What doctors talk about viagra or cialis? It contains Sildenafil. Also known as erectile dysfunction is defined as the impossibility to attain an erection suitable for intercourse. Having erectile dysfunction can no doubt complicate dating. Many men take more medicines later in life and some have sexual side effects that will lead to impotence. Some of medications fuel desire. Certain far-famed medicaments can mean screwing with your orgasm. What is the most significant facts you perhaps know know about this?

About the Blog

This is a place to share my love and excessive fandom of film, actors, and television. I gush a lot, and I complain a lot, usually not simultaneously.

I share my take on the latest movies I’ve seen (some new, some new to me, and some classics that are worth a rewatch), and a little promotion here and there for shows or films that I feel deserve a little more attention than they’re getting.

So, kick back, settle in, switch on, tune in, or whatever you have to do and join in on the love for all things that move on-screen.
